The Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology (PAO) proudly presents its Young Ophthalmologists (YO) Executive Committee, a dynamic team dedicated to nurturing the next generation of eye care leaders in the country. It is composed of passionate ophthalmologists who volunteer their time and expertise for advancements in the field through educational initiatives and networking opportunities.

Leading the overall committee is Dr. Carlo Antonio Nasol with Dr. Erika Jean Salvame-Siopongco as Externals Head. Drs. Victor Ephraime Paulino, Eleanore Iguban, and Miriam Louella Fermin-Layador serve as councilor, secretary, and treasurer, respectively. 

Standing committee heads are Dr. Lee Obias Tan for Social Media, Dr. Patricia Lim-Tanjutco for Education and Advocacy, Dr. Aramis Torrefranca Jr. for Special Projects, and Dr. Patricia Kaye Sy for Membership.

As the committee continues to grow, it also serves as a vital platform for professional development and collaborative learning;  shaping the future of the ophthalmology community.
